Buzon's benefits and vital statistics for the screwjack pedestal flooring support applications

Vital Statistics for the Patented Slope Corrector, Superior Drainage, Precise Adjustment, Precise Spacing, Versatility and Durability, Stability and Strength

Product Range: Benefits and statistics

  • Patented Slope Corrector
Buzon DPH® pedestals include an integrated slope corrector to compensate for slopes of 0% to 5%. Slope correctors can be added to models DPH0 – DPH3.

  • Superior Drainage
The design of the product, specifically the spacer tabs, ensures desired drainage objectives are met. Immediate drainage eliminates the age-old design requirement to slope the final or finished surface or include grills or drains in the design. The pedestal system allows for better drainage below the surface resulting in a longer lifespan for any waterproofing material.

  • Precise Adjustment
The Buzon DPH® pedestals range in height from 17mm to 620mm. For heights over 35mm, the patented design allows precise vertical adjustment with a simple turn.

  • Precise Spacing
Spacer tabs are available in 2mm, 4.5mm, 6mm and 10mm to allow perfect spacing between stone and deck tiles.
  • Versatility
Buzon DPH® pedestals support stone and deck tiles, timber decking or industrial grating materials over almost any substrate. Use them over any structural surface on rooftops, balconies, terraces, even water features.

  • Durability, Stability and Strength
Constructed of high density polypropylene, Buzon DPH® pedestals have a broad 200 cm diameter footprint with a surface area of 320 cm2 for stability and strength. Each part is screwed in to each other with an automatic locking mechanism that prevents overextension and ensures that a minimum of 3 ribs overlap for maximum strength. Buzon DPH® pedestals are impervious to water, mould and freeze-thaw cycles and each single pedestal cal support loads of over 1000kgs, forming the thickest and most solid pedestal system on the market

  • Access for maintenance, cabling, lighting and pipework.
Services such as gas and electricity can run in the void between the substrate and the surface. Services and the substrate are easily accessible by simply lifting tiles or deck boards as necessary.

  • Easy and Speedy to Use, Fewer Materials Required, Time Saving, Reduced Costs
The simplicity of the system means that projects can be completed much faster and with less wastage than traditional methods.

  • Works on rooftops
Buzon DPH® pedestals sit directly over smooth surfaced roofing membranes without attachment and therefore without having to pierce the membrane. Buzon DPH® pedestals elevate the surface above the roof membrane and allow water to drain.

  • Optimisation of Space
Buzon DPH® Pedestals can cover pipework, drainage channels, air conditioning vents, etc maximising formerlyunusable areas by converting it in to usable terrace space.
