100 Bishopsgate is part of a mixed-use commercial development by Brookfiled Multiplex and Architects Allies & Morrison. The forty-storey tower is anchored by five contiigious podium floors and will provide an area of 944,800 sqft. Buzon UK were specified to supply and install adjustable pedestals to support The Outdoor Deck Company high grade IPE timber decking on the roof terrace at 100 Bishopsgate to create a stunning relaxing space.
The design elements of this 190m2 project included the decking area, platform, ramp and steps. The installation was build in sections to accommodate the requirement for it to have the functionality to be removed by crane and reinstated to enable access to emergency backup generators.
The stunning roof top relaxation space blends the tones of the natural IPE timber decking with the contrasting green landscaping areas. A mixed tenure project that included the planter and lawn garden to be also installed on pedestals creating a stunning landscaped roof terrace overlooking London’s cityscape.
