The Buzon PB range of paving and decking pedestals are perfect for creating commercial and residential spaces. Fully adjustable from 12 to 955mm, PB decking pedestals are easy to adjust, enabling a quick, reliable and sturdy paving and decking installation.
The ergonomic design of the PB pedestal system is specially designed with an enlarged head surface that can support the laying of very thick ceramic tiles, concrete/natural stone pavers, or a floor made of wooden or composite boards.
The versatility of the PB system means that it can be used easily for many different external flooring applications, from small rooftop terraces to large commercial installations.
We also offer a wide range of accessories to accompany the PB Pedestal system. These include spacer tabs to guarantee perfect alignment between pedestal pavers, alongside shims to aid stability, slope correction, membrane protection and much more. See below.
Attached to the pedestal head, Spacer Tabs separate pavers maintaining perfect alignment and facilitating drainage. The PB range has spacer tabs in a variety of heights and widths to suit pavers of assorted sizes, including 20mm porcelain.
Shim options are available for the head or the base of the PB pedestal and depending on where they are used, can be used to aid stability, deaden sound, or to add height either uniformly or to compensate for variations in paver thickness.
Whether correcting existing groundworks or creating ramps and slopes, the PB range has the potential for up to 10% correction to be added to the pedestal base. Additional tools allow you to identify the correction required for each pedestal and then perform the perfect adjustment.
This acoustic pad sits under the pedestal to help deaden sound, whilst providing that little extra protection in more demanding environments. We offer two different thicknesses as standard.
Joist Supports are used to firmly attach timber, composite or metal battens to the head of the pedestal.
If additional height is required for particular pedestal models, Couplers can be a solution. Only supplied on advice - contact us for more information.
Our U-Wall, U-Edge and Alugrate products allow clean finishes against walls and provide excellent drainage options. The U-End allows the creation of vertical steps where the terrace edge is not enclosed.
In some installs, the potential for wind uplift can be an issue. Our wind resistance discs are used to give extra security by physically locking down pavers to the head of the pedestal.
These can be used alongside pedestals as part of an install where terrace height is variable and minimal height is required.

For tile formats larger than 60mm and / or pedestal heights greater than 100mm, additional supporting pedestals per tile may be required. Mesh backing on tiles may also be advisable in these circumstances.
